The reason being that if one of your employees has an injury whilst working for you, they could try claiming compensation that could cost you a lot without the insurance, having the employers liability means you have cover against these claims that may occur.
HSE (Health and Safety)?
Health & safety applies to most things, when working in a company that's when it is mostly important because you have a responsibility to keep yourself and your employees safe. Applying for a license or notifying HSE or your local authority is necessary.
Legal
Already being in business, you should be aware of the legal requirements that should be followed as an employer/business owner. The legal responsibilities that must be attended are as follows:
